Mankind's Refusal to Answer to His Creator

I find it interesting that in mankind's search for relevance and significance, mankind continues to use evolution rather than creation as the measure and context for his search. It is essential to understand that we can never discover our value or purpose for living by studying the creation but only by a relationship with the Creator Himself. The Lord God created the earth and everything in it for mankind. Then He gave them dominion over it. The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it.

Keep in mind, everything in creation gets its significance from the Lord God and not the other way around. It was Adam who named all the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. That didn't happen overnight. It was a process. So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.

Mankind was created to lead and become leaders, not leaders of other men but of all the animals, birds and every creeping thing. It is because of man's refusal to obey his creator's command that animals fight and kill one another for food. Men cheat on their wives and vice-versa. Disobedience brings disorder and chaos. It is because of man's refusal to listen and obey his Lord and King that religion and its institutions have taken the place of the mediator in order to reach the Father God. Yes, I said it, many people attend a religious institution to find the Lord God. Do you recall what ambassador Paul stated in 1st Timothy? For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone.

Many people that attend some kind of religious institution on Sunday or any other day of the week are looking for a blessing--healing, finances, job, marriage--or absolution. Sometimes it is only to please leadership. They fail to read and study the Lord God's Constitution and seek their Lord on their own. These are King Jesus' instructions to us: Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. There are many religious leaders--pastors, evangelists, prophets--who know the name of Jesus but have no idea what the Kingdom He talked about is. Yet the King gave us the command to seek the Kingdom first!

We must remember, the Kingdom of the living God isn't a democracy. It is not governed by the people. In a Kingdom, the King personally owns everything in His domain. (It is also not communism or socialism where the ruler withholds things from the people) The word "my" doesn't exist. There is no private ownership in the Kingdom. Everything belongs to the King and He gives us access. In a democracy it is about what I can get for myself and how I can become rich and financially independent. While the Lord Jesus was here on this earth, He made this statement: “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money."

Remember God's representative Isaiah and what the Lord God spoke through him? I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols. Too many of our religious leaders today just want to be known; either for the size of their church or image and standing in their communities and even social media. My question is this: Is there anyone who truly wants to embrace the Kingdom message without seeking glory for themselves? King Jesus put it this way: And though I have no wish to glorify myself, God is going to glorify me. He is the true judge.

Regardless of what goes on in this present world, stand on His Word!

And remember, your greatest asset is your faith in His Constitution.
