Those who have been born again through the Spirit of the Lord God are representatives of His Kingdom government. Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Ephesians 2:18-19 It is our responsibility to be filled with the Holy Spirit (our Governor) and represent the King, our Lord and Savior. We are to be examples in all of our behavior. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Ephesians 5:1-5 Our lifestyle should be as such that we are able to state as ambassador Paul said: And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1
IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY TO IMITATE YESHUA, ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH THE PEOPLE AND THINGS OF THIS WORLD. BUT AS WE MAKE A CONSCIOUS DECISION TO WANT TO DO IT, I BELIEVE EVERY TIME WE MAKE THAT ATTEMPT OUT OF LOVE FOR YESHUA HE WILL GIVE US STRENGTH AND WISDOM FOR IT TO BECOME MORE EASIER TO DO THE NEXT TIME. THIS IS GOING TO REQUIRE US TO THINK BEFORE WE ACT.
PRAYER: FATHER OUR DESIRE IS TO REPRESENT YOUR KINGDOM IN EVERY PART OF OUR LIVE. WE WANT TO IMITATE THE KING IN ALL WE SAY AND DO. SO WE ASK YOU FATHER TO GIVE US THE BOLDNESS, STRENGTH AND THE HEART TO WALK IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. TO SAY WHAT THE KING WOULD SAY AND DO WHAT THE KING WOULD DO, SO THAT OUR LIVES WOULD GIVE YOU GLORY. WE LOVE YOU FATHER AND DESIRE TO OBEY YOUR WORD, IN YESHUA NAME.
